Salary: $47,840 - 54,080 per year Requirements:

• Current Oregon Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Expanded Functions Preventive Dental Assistant (EFPDA) certification
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and compassion when working with children
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical setting
• Pediatric dental assisting experience, X-ray certification as applicable, and English-Spanish bilingual skills may increase starting pay

• Assist pediatric dentists with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Help children feel comfortable and supported during visits
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
• Take radiographs and other diagnostic records as permitted by Oregon regulations
• Educate children and parents about oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Work with the clinical team to support efficient care and a positive office experience
